Kelsey began her Pilates journey 17 years ago initially training in the Contemporary approach to Pilates, certifying with STOTT in 2008. Over the years she has spent much time dedicated to furthering her Pilates and fitness education, certifying in other methods such as TRX Suspension Training, Yoga, and many yearly Pilates related workshops. However the Pilates method was and remains to be her true love. In 2018 Kelsey began studying the Classical method of Pilates, the way Joseph H. Pilates intended it to be, through Power Pilates.
Pilates is a system of core based exercises designed to improve your overall health and well being. You can expect improvement in posture, strength, stamina, flexibility, and an overall feeling of wellness. Pilates by Kelsey began as a way to connect with clients from all places of the world at a time, without physically being in the same place. Since then, her boutique home studio has become the Port Dalhousie Pilates Club and offers in-person small group Reformer classes, and private 1:1 sessions.
